Allies/ Alliance Recruitment

So ive been pondering this idea for a while, and i figured i might as well post it just to see what everyone thinks about it.

I figured that since we're a borderline Top-20 alliance, that maybe we should work on either becoming allies with some of the smaller but decent alliances or just simply looking around for some decently ranked players who are active and high in the rankings who would be interested in joining us. Comments?

hmmm making allies with other alliances would pay off in the long run. but so would a high ranked player. We could get both... i have a friend with a favor that he owes me and he's a decent rank I'll see what I can do. besides extortion is one of the things I'm good at....

If your gonna make alliances start making it with the smaller alliances because they are most likely going to say yes. Maybe if we had a collection of numerous allies maybe we could form the strongest force in the game. Also our enemies will look at the amount of allies we have and maybe fear us as we could call for alot of back-up.

Honestly, in none of the browser games I played any boundary between alliances was really strong. When it gets tough, everybody thinks for himself and tries to save his own ass / planets and that counts also the alliances. I attacked several players with quite good ranked friends in other browser games and was threatened very few times and attacked perhaps 2 times. So I will continue give a shit about how many allies someone has because almost nobody likes to risk a fleet loss for saving some people who doesn't really know ;-)

I'm here to ask an Alliance between us. Not just for trade, but for protection as well.
Recently the I.S.A.F. has started probing my members, and recruiting off my members as well.
I do not wish to ask for an alliance for war, but I feel that if we have an alliance as powerful as yours on our side that they will back down.

I currently have a member of yours in my starting system, Magic Magician, who is obviously ranked well above myself or anyone in my alliance.
And if that is the type of protection that FEARmerc offers, then I can think to look no where else.

Meanwhile, why don't you tell us a little about your alliance.

Well were new, I founded the alliance on June 6th, so were not even a month old.
We currently have 17 members. It was 19 but we lost a few lower members to bigger alliances.
Unfortunetly we don't have any power members as of yet, our highest member is in the 2000 rank.

But other then that for being not even a month old I'd say were doing pretty good, Overall were ranked 190, our Fleet is ranked 87, and in Research were ranked 46.
Most of our members have had experience in Ogame in the past, myself for example have been playing since Uni 9 was released.

Besides all the were just trying to keep the peace. I.S.A.F. is the alliance that took a few of our lower members.
I'm just trying to show them that were not as low as they think we are.
I plan on being around for a long time lol. ;]

hey, my name is Zayl360 and i would like to apply to this alliance. my last alliance ended rather suddenly and when it was reformed about a month ago i didn't really want to rejoin. my rank is 975 over all and although i'm not very active i also don't have anyone to converse with since i'm on my own and often waiting for up to 10 hours for buildings to finish. i was fleet crashed once so i have to rebuild from nothing, i currently have 36 Destroyers with more on the way. while my fleet is small my planet deference are rather good. as i wonder the game i'm looking for an alliance who will help me achieve Graviton Technology which my last group did not in anyway assist me when i was probed and attacked. feel free to probe me and let me know what you think.
